Michael was asked by Avril Lavigne and her management team to conceptualize a treatment for Avril's 2008 World Tour in support of her album "The Best Damn Thing."  Over a 6-month period, Michael made it down to the final contenders to direct and choreograph Avril's tour based on his 30-page treatment covering set-list, stage design, costume design, LED screen content, general artist direction and choreography samples.
